40 Days and Nights of Adoration

You may be aware that, starting on the 17th April and continuing until 26th May,2018, there will be 40 days and nights of Adoration on top of Croagh Patrick in devotion to the nation.

Our Lady Queen of Peace, Bray will dedicate 40 days and nights of prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament to coincide with the Vigil on

Croagh Patrick. We wish to extend a warm welcome and invitation to all parishioners in our diocese to come and join us in Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, starting Tuesday 17th April at 3pm until Saturday 26th May. Please Join us in prayer for the nation and Protection of Life.

Join other young adults (20’s & 30’s)] for reflective hikes around Dublin Area, Monthly Event.

The next hike will be Sunday 29th April on the Howth ‘Cliff Walk’.

Sometimes we can lose our sense of direction, we become the prey of empty fears and false pleasures.   Today we are reminded that in Jesus we have someone who will always guide us right and protect us.   If we listen to him and follow him we will have the fullest possible life

Church Cleaner’s/Sweeper’s

Would you have two hours to spare on Monday Afternoons ?? Our Cleaning team are in dire need of a couple of extra people to help SWEEP the Church every week so as: firstly, to ensure the floors are always kept clean and free from dust, and secondly when its Floor Polishing Week it won’t be the huge job it has now become for our regular Cleaning Ladies who have been doing this work tirelessly for years. Volunteers: Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services is recruiting for Bereavement Support Volunteers in Harold’s Cross and Blackrock. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The training will commence in September for the duration of the academic year. If you think you have the personal qualities and are interested in training to provide a support service to bereaved people. Age Action are organising beginner computer classes for over 55’s in the Bray area.

The classes are for older people who have little or no computer experience (or for the absolutely terrified!). The aim of the Getting Started programme is to introduce people to the basics of computers, internet and email. Classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors on a one to one basis with small groups of learners in a relaxed, non-formal setting.


We train older people on ipads, tablets and laptops.
