Just because we can’t gather together to pray doesn’t mean that we can’t pray together. Why not partner up with some one and make a call at a certain time every day to pray. It could mean a call to say the Angelus or maybe say the Rosary together ant the end of the day, It could be less formal by sharing thoughts about your favourite prayer or piece of sacred music. The important thing is that you know that at some point everyday you will have someone to pray with. Please spread the word to others about this and advertise through parish web sites. Parishes could work on a data bank of people who would be happy to prayer buddy!

Age Action are organising beginner computer classes for over 55’s in the Bray area.

The classes are for older people who have little or no computer experience (or for the absolutely terrified!). The aim of the Getting Started programme is to introduce people to the basics of computers, internet and email. Classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors on a one to one basis with small groups of learners in a relaxed, non-formal setting.

We train older people on ipads, tablets and laptops.
